“All of my paintings are a collaboration between my Nikon digital camera,
my bicycle and the canvas. They begin with a bike ride to  explore small
streets that I photograph from the pedestrian view point.The series Intersections
describes the urban landscape in the same way that rows and furrows define
the countryside. They are the urban maps that determine movement through
the city, they are safety zones,  places to pause, listen and observe while the
city rushes and swirls around.”
